ART FOR EVERY STYLE..

Choosing art is often the biggest dilemma I run into with clients.  It sets the tone of a room, and allows you to express yourself, so it's pretty damn important. It also doesn't help that most art sites can be overwhelming because there are so many options (it was even tricky for me to narrow down this list!).

Today I decided to round up some of my favorite picks from Minted, which is seriously my favorite art source at the moment. The first piece I ever ordered from them was this one for my daughter's big girl room. Needless to say, I was REALLY impressed with the quality and the options to customize virtually every detail of the framing. Below you'll find a list of some of my favorites for every style.

Bath- There's something fancy about this that draws me in every time I see it. Whether it be a bold statement piece in a formal living room or in the bathroom for obvious reasons, I love it's moodiness and how it reminds me of a vintage portrait.
Palm Study #1- Actually, #2 and #3 are pretty awesome too. They're punchy, and preppy and the colors are SO good.

Stepping Stones- Perfect for the popular California casual look. Somehow this one manages to be so muted but so interesting at the same time.

Fractured Horizon 1- Abstract glam. Comes in a few different colors too. Perfect large-scale piece for above a sofa.

Mystical & Mysterious- The name says it all. Love this one for it's simplicity and moodiness. Sure to make a statement in any room.

Mesmerize- This one is the prettiest one of the bunch. It's no secret how much I love the color blush and these green accents along with the texture of the brushstrokes make this art one of my favorites.
Staredown- If I had a dollar for the amount of times I've used this piece, I could retire. This piece usually makes the men happy and fulfills the need to have some masculine decor in a room (like I did for this client). It's also the perfect piece for any rustic/boho/eclectic decor lovers. This one commands attention in the best way.

Skycoasters- It's cute, it's fun, and perfect for a kid's room or a beach house.

Plant Cell 2- Along with the other in the series 1 3 and 4 are some good go-to abstract pieces. Black and white goes with everything too.
Do It Anyway 2- All of Kristi Kohut's art is perfectly colorful and modern. Her pieces go well in contemporary glam spaces and preppy ones, and she has a huge following.

Hopefully this round up made your art search a little easier. The trick to art is to not overthink it. There's no rules, just find a piece or two that you'd enjoy seeing in your home everyday.
